E-Safety
Welcome to our Online Safety page for children and parents...
E-Safety
E-safety is an integral part of pupil’s education in today’s digital world and is embedded in their learning at school. We also want to help our families improve their own understanding of e-safety issues so they can learn to use the internet and all digital media in a safe and secure way.
At School
Children at Ty Sign Primary take part in online safety lessons following plans set by SWGFL and common sense media which is available to view on HWB.

Online Safety for Children
Always be careful when you are using the internet. It can help you to keep in touch with your friends and help your learning – but it can also cause harm – to you and to others.
Remember help is always available at school if you are having any problems online.
Don’t be afraid to talk to your teacher or another adult at school.

Online Safety for Parents/Carers for Apps, Devices and Online Safety
Most popular social media platforms require the users to be at least 13 years old. Please see the poster below for specific age ratings. We do not encourage the use of these apps until at the appropriate age.
